Now that we begin to awaken from our winter slumber and the days are lengthening, we look forward to the opening of the 2026 Salmon season.

As we have in previous years we will be marking the occasion by inviting our members, their guests, family and friends to join us on our opening day celebrations.

This will take place on Saturday 14 February beginning at 8.30am, meeting at the clubhouse where hot drinks and snacks will be available. Then marching to the skirl of the pipes from the sheds to the jetty, where the traditional blessing of the boats will be performed by Leigh Hamilton, Head Ranger from the LLPA. Following the blessing of the boasts it is now time to try and connect with the elusive spring Salmon. The clubhouse will be open from 2pm for an afternoon of music and karaoke and a bowl of hot piping soup awaits out hardy members who have ventured up the Loch.
