This Saturday 31 May will be the next club fishing competition. These events have been popular and have drawn a significant amount of anglers out on to the water. With the recent warm spell there have still been reports of double figure fish and plenty Sea Trout being caught. Now that the good spell appears to have ended, for the time being, with the current rainfall this should produce a fresh run of fish into the Loch. Competition rules as are per usual with registration starting at 6-8.30am, entries must be on a personal basis friends are unable to enter for you.
On the completion of registration all anglers will be given a tape measure and colour counter. All catches must be photographed with the tape measure and colour counter in the photograph. All fish must be measured for head to tail.
Prize money stands at £70 for Salmon. Prize giving will be in the club house at 6pm.
